Roaming
Use of this card is not recommended from mobile phones that have global roaming activated, as normal roaming charges will apply.
Recharging
Once the initial value on your card is used up, or you are starting to run low, simply recharge your card using one of the following methods:
Recharge online HERE using a credit card, direct debit or automatic payment.
Recharge over the phone (landlines only) using a Credit card** and get 10% extra credit FREE. Follow the voice instructions when using your card. A minimum $10 top-up applies.
If your TelstraClear Phone Card features the Ezi-Pay logo, you can recharge your card at Ezi-Pay retailers throughout New Zealand. Ezi-Pay stores include supermarkets, bookstores, stationers, petrol stations, dairies and convenience stores.
If your TelstraClear Phone Card features the epay logo, you can recharge your card at epay rertailers throughout New Zealand. epay stores include service stations, dairies, supermarkets and convenience stores.
Or you can buy $10 Recharge Vouchers from selected SmartPay retailers, which come pre-loaded with an extra 10% FREE credit. Follow the steps printed on the voucher to load the value to your phone card.Voice Mail
Select option 3 when using the card for instructions on setting up a personal greeting or checking messages.
To leave a message in a mailbox:
Dial 09 916 8181 when in NZ or + 64 9 916 8181 from overseas & enter the mailbox number. This is located on the back of the card at bottom right, beneath the barcode.
To access messages:
Cardholders will be alerted that a new message has been left when they next use the card. Select option 3 to access messages. There is a charge of 10 cents each time messages are accessed.
One Touch Speed Dial
Save up to 9 different numbers using the numbers 1 to 9 on your phone key pad
For instructions, select option 4 when using the card.
Ensure that saved numbers have all the required area/national codes (eg 04 123 4567 for Wellington or 00 61 2 9123 4567 for Australia)
To use saved speed dial numbers, dial * then the directory location number followed by # instead of dialling a number.
Call Records
Call records are available on request for immigration purposes only. Evidence supporting a request may be required. Call records cost $20.00 for up to 10 cards.
Our cards are widely available from dairies, service stations, supermarkets, stationers and holiday parks.
If you would like to purchase over the phone, simply call TelstraClear on 0508 508 773 between 8am & 11pm (excludes weekends and public holidays) and have your credit card details ready. Minimum purchase value $10 and maximum value of $100.
